Once we have received your request, we will first communicate with your doctor to make the essential verifications. It is possible that we ask your doctor for additional information pertaining to your medical condition.

Following this, we will get in contact with you to arrange a meeting.

Interested in obtaining a license to legally possess medical marijuana?

If you haven't already, you should discuss with your doctor the issue of medical marijuana.

In 2001, as a result of public and judicial pressure, Health Canada created the MMAR (Medical Marihuana Access Regulations).   Under this program, chronically and/or terminally ill patients may apply for a license which allows them to possess and/or produce their own medical cannabis.   It remains our goal to encourage and educate patients as to how they might legally grow their own supply of medicine.

Anyone currently wishing to grow their own supply of medical cannabis, or wanting it supplied for them legally, should obtain the forms from Health Canada and discuss it with their doctor.   If your doctor is recluctant, please contact us at the compassion center, so that we can help by sending one of our representatives to meet with your doctor.

The application form must be accompanied by two passport-sized photographs, to be used on an identification card issued to applicants authorized to possess. The card can be shown to a police officer as evidence that the person is permitted to possess marijuana.
